Ecology is a new parameter that today increasingly appears in the catalogue of requirements. For confidence in textiles, the need has arisen for such a seal of approval or label for products that in their manufacture, use and disposal have only a minimal impact on the environment.

Safety being a big catch these days. We need all information on measures taken to ensure the safest environment. ISO 45001:2018 is for health and safety management systems. It was developed in response to widespread demand for a recognized standard of certification & assessment.
SA 8000:2014
SA 8000 is an international certification standard that encourages organizations to develop, maintain and apply socially acceptable practices in the workplace. SA 8000 certification addresses issues including forced and child labor, occupational health and safety, freedom of association and collective bargaining, discrimination, disciplinary practices, working hours, compensation, and management systems.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 confirms the confidence in textile and is a certificate to affirm that products have been manufactured without the use of harmful substances, assures human ecological safeties of textiles and fulfills the requirements of existing European legislation regarding the use of Azo dyes.

100% Organic Cotton
OEKO-TEX® ORGANIC COTTON is for a caring approach to the environment and health. OEKO-TEX® ORGANIC COTTON certification offers verification from farm to product. Products bearing this label have been manufactured without the use of GMOs and tested for pesticides and other harmful substances. Mixtures of conventional and organic cotton are not allowed.
OEKO-TEX® STeP
OEKO-TEX® STeP stands for Sustainable Textile & Leather Production and is a modular certification system for production facilities in the textile and leather industry. The goal of STeP is to implement environmentally friendly production processes in the long term, to improve health and safety and to promote socially responsible working conditions at production sites.
OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN
OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN is a traceable product label for all kinds of textiles and leather products that have been manufactured in environmentally friendly facilities under safe and socially responsible working conditions. The MADE IN GREEN label also reassures consumers that the textile or leather product is made of materials that have been tested for harmful substances.
C-TPAT
Customs – Trade Partnership Against Terrorism is another milestone that has been achieved in order to build customer confidence. It includes strict security measures at various stages of production, packing, and transportation. Examples include scanning containers of explosive weapons at the packing and loading stages.
BSCI
Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) aims to establish a common platform for the various European companies Codes of Conducts and monitoring systems, it also lays the foundation for a common monitoring system for social compliance to improve social compliance in the global supply chain.
GOTS
GOTS standard aims to ensure organic status of textile from harvesting, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing, up to labeling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end customer.
OCS
Organic Content Standard (OCS) is a standard for tracking and documenting the purchase, handling and use of certified organically farmed cotton fiber in blended yarn, fabrics and finished products.
RCS
RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) is used as a chain of custody standard to track recycled raw materials through the supply chain. RCS uses the chain of custody requirements of the Content Claim Standard. The RCS verifies the presence and amount of recycled material in a final product.
GRS
Global Recycle Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions.

Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future. BCI aims to transform cotton production worldwide by developing Better Cotton as a sustainable mainstream commodity
Inditex Approved Vendor
JK Spinning Mills Limited is approved vendor for Inditex for our products i.e. Yarn, Fabric, & Home Textile. Inditex sourcing of products and raw materials follows the most stringent social, environmental, and health and safety standards stipulated in Code of Conduct for Manufacturers and Suppliers.
